I&amp;#39;ll have to ponder that for a while, maybe.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I really, really want a satisfying ending when I read. So the &amp;quot;just stopped&amp;quot; endings aren&amp;#39;t my cup of tea. Maybe if you&amp;#39;d not read it so quickly, you never would have finished it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;m reminded of a pretty good book I read, the first in a series, that just stopped. My &amp;quot;Is this Manipulation?&amp;quot; radar whipped up and I simply refused to buy any more in the series. I&amp;#39;ll never know how it ended. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nah-ner, nah-ner, nah-ner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And, I&amp;#39;ve heard more than once about a series that began and was suddenly dropped by the publisher. I&amp;#39;m sorry.
